This illustration  is taken from the 4-page flyer William circulated around Virginia and .Washington DC in 1860.

The flyer shows the machine can be sized according to the supply pipe size - ranging from 1” ( giving from 1/16th to 7 HP with the water supply pressure ranging from 10ft to 250ft head) right up to 9” pipe diameter, giving power outputs ranging from 5 to 733 HP over the same water supply head.

A replica of this motor is now (2022) being constructed based upon this image and also William’s patents  GB 1861 No 57 and US 23282 of 1860. Both cover the same device and describe and depict the internal construction.

Further details will be added here as the replica is developed.
